Biography

Professor Tenenhaus holds the position of Manager of Professional Development for the Corporate and Finance practice groups at Cadwalader. In this capacity, he collaborates with department leadership, oversees staffing, designs training programs, coordinates annual reviews, provides support and counseling for associates, and acts as a liaison between partners and associates. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Professor Tenenhaus served as an Associate Director of Career & Professional Development at Brooklyn Law School for over six years. He continues to teach at Brooklyn Law School as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Law, teaching a seminar course in professionalism designed to support law students as they enter the legal profession.

Before venturing into professional development, Professor Tenenhaus accrued five years of experience as a corporate bankruptcy associate at both Kasowitz Benson and Seward & Kissel. Preceding his legal career, Professor Tenenhaus worked in the Investment Banking division of Bear Stearns, focusing on M&A and corporate finance transactions. Additionally, he served as a White House intern. Professor Tenenhaus is an active member of the Career Advancement Management Committee at the NYC Bar Association where he regularly speaks on panels. He is also a member of the Professional Development Consortium.

He earned his B.A. from Muhlenberg College, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During his time at Hofstra, he served as an Associate Editor for the Hofstra Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
